Will a p75 chipped for vtec run a stock ls?

I found an ecu for my ls swap. Its a P75 but it is chipped for vtec. Im planning on doing ls vtec later but for now i need something to run non vtec. will this work? if not what do i need to do in order to make it run stock ls?
