Do you agree with this answer regarding neutering dogs?

I have never had this happen. I am 50 and have had many dogs over my lifetime all lived to be elderly and died of old age related issues. I have had a 160 pound Newfie, a dachshound, two basenji and a samoyed. all were spayed or neutered and none died of any cancer related to that. The newfie died at 12 years old (ave. life span 10 yrs) of throat cancer, the dachshound died at 16 of heart attack, the basenjis both were in their teens and had heart issues and the samoyed died after heart issues over a years time at 15 years old.
