About surrogate mothers?

I am 41 years and my husband 44, we just got married and I had a hysterectomy at the age of 31. I still have my ovaries. I want to know if it is possible to use my eggs and my husband's sperm with a surrogate mother. I also need to know if it is legal for a surrogate mother to charge a fee? We will pay for her medical expenses etc. I also need to know if I am to old.
