Have you heard about the death of 13 year old Megan Meier of Dardenne Prairie, MO?

She had a history of depression and committed suicide after ADULT PARENTS of a clmate (who were also neighbors) played a cruel hoax on her on My Space. There is a clear connection between the My Space communication and the suicide. Megan ran from the computer very upset and her parents found her in her room shortly thereafter. Megan's parents learned about the My Space hoax about 6 weeks after she died. In their grief and anger, they destroyed a foosball table they had been storing in their home for the offending adults. Now the offending neighbors are suing the grieving parents for the foosball table. Anyone who has kids they love who use My Space should know about this.
