Plus sized and pregnant.........what are the risks?

Yes, with my first pregnancy I was really overweight around 190 lbs when I conceived. I had a very hard time with pregnancy. I had high blood pressure , lots of swelling, problems with my heart rate speeding up ... around 160bpm. I had several er trips. I was miserable. With this pregnancy my preconception weight was 160 lbs and I am doing soooo much better I haven't had problems other than vericose veins and I had those with my first also. I am going to have my baby aug 22 and I am very happy so far. I haven't even had swelling yet and that is sooooo much a plus. I would suggest to anyone to lose weight before conceiving after know the difference now. Good Luck.
